The position:
We are seeking a Reporting Specialist for either full-time or part-time positions. Compensation will be hourly and determined by previous experience. Key responsibilities include:
• Writing and reviewing reports, including quality assurance and quality control, for various types of Environmental Site Assessments.
Responsibilities include:
- Minimum of 5 years of authoring technical and/or applied science reports.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)/ strong scientific writing aptitude.
- Ability to translate complex scientific and technical information into clear and understandable language.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work independently
Minimum requirements:
- Degree or diploma in the environmental sciences, engineering, biology or related sciences
- Member in good standing with the AIA, ASPB, APEGA, ASET, ACPA or AAFMP
- 1 year experience with the abovementioned responsibilities
- Organized, detail-orientated and proficient in MS office
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)/ strong scientific writing aptitude
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, resourceful and flexible
- Alberta Class 5 Driver’s licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract

- Experience in the environmental consulting industry.
The location:
- The office is located in Calgary’s Shepard Business Park. As there is no public transportation available in the area,
candidates will need to have their own means of transport. The position offers the possibility for remote work following
the on-boarding and training phase.
