Olaf Wielens, R.T.(Ag.)

Olaf has a diploma in Land Reclamation and Classification from Olds College and is currently registered with the Alberta Institute of Agrologists as a technologist. He has 17 years’ experience in the environmental consulting industry, the majority consisting of: Phase I, II and III soil assessments, remediation and reclamation.

Phyllis Janzen BMgt, CPA, CMA

Phyllis has a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta. She has over 30 years of experience gained through working for organizations in various areas of accounting and reporting. Phyllis has been with Ballast Environmental for a year and is responsible for all areas of accounting and reporting.

Kassandra Cropley BSc, BIT, EPt

Kassandra has a Bachelor of Science with specialization in Biology and Geography. She is currently registered with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists as a Biologist in Training and with ECO Canada as an Environmental Professional in Training. Kassandra has been with Ballast Environmental since 2010 assisting with reclamation, hazardous materials assessments, and Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments for commercial/industrial and oil & gas sites.

Michael Walker BSc

Mr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Central Lancashire with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Mr. Walker has over 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. His experience includes, but not limited to, Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments. Mr. Walker has over 7 years of experience as a project manager directing teams to complete projects.

Elvie Reinson, BSc, PBiol, RPBio

Elvie holds a BSc in Ecology and is a member of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists and the College of Applied Biology British Columbia. She has experience in the full range of consulting services in the environmental industry, from baseline studies, and initial approvals to reclamation, remediation and attainment of the final reclamation certificate.
